The Aluminum Extruders Council and the ET Foundation have postponed the 12th International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar to 2021. The ET Seminar, which had been scheduled for later this month, will now be held May 11-13, 2021 at the Hilton Orlando in Florida.
A new and updated website at www.ET-21.org will be the source for new and updated information as it becomes available.
¡°We are fortunate to have found dates and a location that meets our specific needs. It took some time since so many organizations had to reschedule events simultaneously due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the novel coronavirus pandemic,¡± said AEC President Jeff Henderson.
The ET Seminar Committee and ET staff are in the process of communicating with authors and presenters to assess the status of the technical program. ¡°The program remains essentially intact with only minor changes to date based on speaker availability and we hope to make as few changes to the original ET ¡¯20 program as necessary,¡± Henderson explained.
Registrants who previously paid to attend ET ¡¯20 will be automatically transferred to the new registration system and will receive a new registration confirmation for ET 2021 via email in the coming weeks. Current ET exhibitors will be reconfirmed and transferred to the updated floor plan for the ET Expo, which will be located in the Orlando Ballroom at the Hilton Orlando.
